Where is the Pacific Coastal Ranges located?
The Pacific Coastal Ranges, also known as the Pacific Coast Ranges or the Pacific Mountain System, are a series of mountain ranges that form a nearly continuous coastal mountain system along the western edge of North America, from Alaska to southern California. They extend for about 4,800 kilometers (3,000 miles) and are part of the larger Cordillera mountain system. This mountain range is present in: Canada (Yukon, British Columbia) and United States (Washington, Oregon, California).
