Do betta fish live in the Pacific Ocean?

Betta fish, also known as Siamese fighting fish, are native to Southeast Asia, specifically Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. They inhabit shallow, slow-moving waters like rice paddies, canals, and small streams. The Pacific Ocean is a vast body of saltwater, whereas betta fish are freshwater species. Therefore, betta fish do not naturally live in the Pacific Ocean.
