Time Difference Between the Falkland Islands and the UK

Falkland Islands Time vs. UK Time

The Falkland Islands observe Falkland Islands Time (FKT) year-round since 2011, which is UTC-3. The UK alternates between Greenwich Mean Time (GMT, UTC+0) in winter and British Summer Time (BST, UTC+1) in summer.

Resulting Differences

• UK Winter (GMT): Falklands are 3 hours behind the UK.
• UK Summer (BST): Falklands are 4 hours behind the UK.

Note: The Falklands no longer observe daylight saving, so the gap changes only when the UK switches clocks.
