Where are the British Isles in relation to equator?
The British Isles are located in the North Atlantic Ocean, just off the coast of northwestern Europe. They are situated between 49°N and 61°N latitude, and 8°W and 2°E longitude. The British Isles are made up of two large islands, Great Britain and Ireland, as well as numerous smaller islands. The Isles lie to the north of the Tropic of Cancer, which means that they are in the Northern Hemisphere.
