How did Aberdeen Hong Kong get its name?

The area known as Aberdeen Hong Kong took its name from Lord Aberdeen, who served as British Foreign Secretary. The settlement there developed around the time during which Lord Aberdeen held an office and as such, it was deemed fit to honor the man of such high standing by naming the location after him.
