Where are the Scottish kings crowned?

The coronation of the Scottish monarchs has historically taken place at Scone Abbey, located near the town of Perth in Scotland. Scone Abbey served as the traditional crowning place from ancient times until the late 1500s when it fell into ruin. The last Scottish monarch to be crowned at Scone was King Charles II in 1651.
