The Globe Theatre is located on the South Bank of the River Thames in London, England. The theatre is in the London Borough of Southwark and close to the Waterloo and Blackfriars Bridges. The Globe Theatre is situated on the site of the original Globe Theatre, which was built in 1599 and destroyed by fire in 1613.
