Witch city is bigger London or New York?

London and New York are both major cities with large populations. However, New York is generally considered to be the bigger city. According to the 2020 United States Census, New York City has a population of over 8.8 million people. In comparison, London has a population of approximately 8.9 million people according to the 2021 United Kingdom census.

However, it's worth noting that these figures only include the populations of the cities themselves. If we consider the wider metropolitan areas, London is actually larger. The London Metropolitan Area has a population of over 14 million people, while the New York Metropolitan Area has a population of approximately 20 million people.
