Why did the Scots invade England when they knew plague had spread there?

There is no evidence to suggest that the Scots invaded England at the time of the Black Death. In fact, the Black Death is believed to have originated in Central Asia and spread throughout Europe via trade routes, affecting both Scotland and England.
