Leyton is situated in the north-east of London, in the Borough of Waltham Forest, approximately 8 miles from the city centre. It sits close to the River Lea, which forms the boundary between Leyton and Hackney. The area is well-connected to the rest of the capital by public transportation, including the Overground, National Rail and several bus routes.
