When was of London created?

London was founded by the Romans in AD 43 as Londinium and has been continuously settled through to the present day. However, the term "founded" can have different interpretations, as various settlements existed in the area before the Roman period. For example, there is evidence of prehistoric settlements dating back thousands of years, and Celtic tribes inhabited the area before the Roman invasion.
