U.S. State with Population Closest to Kuwait: Not Delaware—It's Closer to Oregon or Oklahoma

Correction: The claim that Delaware (~975,000) is closest to Kuwait's population (~4.2–4.3 million) is incorrect. Kuwait's population is roughly 4.3 million (2023 est.).

U.S. states with populations nearest to 4.3 million (2023 estimates):

• Oregon: ~4.2 million
• Oklahoma: ~4.0 million
• Connecticut: ~3.6 million
• Utah: ~3.4 million
• Iowa: ~3.2 million

Oregon is the closest match. Delaware is off by a factor of 4+. Always verify population figures from current sources (U.S. Census Bureau, World Bank) as numbers change annually.
