Where did gorege Washington live?

George Washington lived at Mount Vernon, a plantation estate located in Fairfax County, Virginia, just south of Washington, D.C. He inherited Mount Vernon from his older half-brother, Lawrence Washington, in 1752, and went on to expand the estate and develop it into a successful agricultural operation. Washington resided at Mount Vernon throughout most of his life, including during his presidency, and it served as his home until his death in 1799. Today, Mount Vernon is preserved as a historic landmark and is open to the public as a museum and educational site.
