Beaches in the Northeast U.S.

The Northeastern area of the United States is a popular tourist destination because of the historical places located there and because of the many different activities available to travelers. Coastal states in the Northeast are also popular for their beaches. Some beaches provide many activities and have lifeguards, while others are quieter to allow visitors to simply enjoy the beach.
