The Sunshine Beach is in southern Noosa Heads National Park. The beach has a relaxed atmosphere along sparkling white sand. From the beach people can walk to the Duke Street commercial district where there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and boutiques.
One of the best places to surf along Sunshine Coast is Alexandra Headland or "Alex" to the local community. Alex sits between Maroochydore and Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Strip. The beach offers numerous of places to get surf lessons and if you need a surf board the area has plenty of rental outlets Alexandra Headland has 10 miles of shopping centers.
Mooloolaba Beach is one of the most well-known beaches on the Sunshine Coast. The beach is patrolled year-round for families to swim all the time. It sits west of Hinterland and north of Noosa. It features rock pools, playgrounds, picnic areas and parklands with plenty of shade.
The Gateway of Fraser Island, Rainbow Beach, sits north of Brisbane. It is a place, where outdoor adventurers can hand-glide along the coast, drive four-wheeled vehicles, go sailing and experience an outdoor camping trip. It takes its name from its featured 74 diverse hues of sand and is a sacred Aboriginal site. Rainbow Beach has numerous large dunes nearby.
