The scenic town of Middlebury is located in east-central Vermont, bordered by the Green Mountains to the east and the Adirondacks to the west. Founded just after the Revolutionary War, this village of 8,200, as of 2011, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is home to Middlebury College, a private liberal arts institution. There are two hotels and two motels in Middlebury.

Your stay includes access to the nearby Vermont Sun Fitness Center, which features an Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool. Facilities are available for meetings, banquets and wedding receptions.
The Sugar House Motel is located two-and-a-half miles north of downtown Middlebury along Route 7. It offers rooms to accommodate smokers and nonsmokers alike, as well as those traveling with pets. Choose from a room with one queen bed or two queen beds. All rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, microwave and refrigerator. In the evenings, sit around the campfire and chat with other guests.
Also on Route 7, the Greystone Motel is situated two miles south of downtown Middlebury. Wake up each morning to a continental breakfast and relax with a book and a hot beverage in the Common Room in the evening. The Greystone’s 10 nonsmoking rooms are all equipped with refrigerators.
