Almo, ID Area Hotels

Almo is a rural town in southern Idaho near the City of Rocks National Reserve. The City of Rocks National Reserve features giant granite pinnacles and monoliths, some over 2.5 billion years old and 60 stories tall, spread across 14,407 acres. Rock climbing, bird watching and hiking are some of the activities that draw visitors to the reserve. Visitors that do not want to camp within the reserve can stay at two properties in Almo, or stay in Albion, about 26 miles north of Almo.
  1. The Almo Inn

    • The Almo Inn is located within the Almo Creek Outpost which includes a gas station, convenience store and restaurant. Originally started with three one-room cabins, the Almo Inn has expanded to include eight rooms and three cabins. Each room and cabin is individually decorated in a western theme. Rooms and cabins have a bathroom, a kitchenette, a dining table and either a patio or balcony to enjoy the scenery. The Almo Inn offers a variety of bedding configurations, ranging from one king bed to two queens and two twins. Some rooms and cabins have a Jacuzzi.

    Old Homestead Bed & Breakfast

    • The Old Homestead Bed & Breakfast has three rooms to choose from. Each room is individually decorated with antiques and colorful bed quilts. Room rates include continental breakfast, which can be enjoyed in the kitchen or out on the porch. Big groups can rent out the entire house. If renting the entire house, the rate does not include breakfast. Surrounding the house is a big yard filled with flowers and plants. The property is closed during the winter months.

    Marsh Creek Inn

    • Located about 26 miles north of Almo is Marsh Creek Inn in Albion, Idaho. Marsh Creek Inn is a two-level building with 12 rooms. The rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV and kitchenettes. Complimentary hot beverages and fresh muffins are provided every morning. The property is named after Marsh Creek which flows through the property. Completing the park-like setting are many trees, a horseshoe pit, picnic tables and a fire pit.

    Albion Bed & Breakfast

    • Also in Albion is Albion Bed & Breakfast. Albion Bed & Breakfast has both suites and rooms. Originally built as a training center for teachers, classrooms have been turned into three suites and four rooms. The suites have a bedroom, a lounge area with an electric fireplace, private bathroom and a kitchen. Rooms have electric fireplaces and mini-fridges. The bathroom for guests staying in the rooms is located across the hall. Free continental breakfast is included with the room rate while guests staying in the suites can opt to order breakfast for a small fee. There is a community lounge with a TV and a library filled with books for guests to enjoy.
