Wisconsin, located in the Midwest United States, is home to many streams, rivers and lakes.   1. Lake Superior

    • Wisconsin is bordered on the north by Lake Superior. This lake is earth’s largest, fresh water body covering almost 32,000 square miles. It is the cleanest among the Great Lakes.     Lake Michigan

    • Lake Michigan is earth’s fifth largest lake and the Great Lakes second largest measuring just over 22,000 square miles. It is located on the eastern border of Wisconsin and offers well frequented beaches.

    Lake Winnebago

    • Measuring almost 138,000 acres, Lake Winnebago is Wisconsin’s largest internally located lake. The area offers year round waterfront attractions ranging from unique lighthouses to picturesque parks. Popular activities include fishing and ice boating.
