Washington, D.C.'s active nightlife includes several urban nightclubs for those who are 18 and over. Some of them are only available for under 21 on certain nights. However, there are a few clubs that are dedicated full time to 18 to 20 year olds.
LOVE nightclub is D.C.'s largest nightclub and was formerly known as "Dream." It features four floors, all with different themes. LOVE is available for 18 and up on Saturday nights from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. They do enforce a dress code that does not permit anything that could be considered casual, such as sneakers or ripped jeans, and they encourage their patrons to dress in a manner that is stylish and sophisticated.
