The Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome is a multipurpose domed stadium in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. The former home of Major League Baseball's Minnesota Twins, the stadium's sole tenant now is the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. The stadium also hosts a variety of musical events and conferences each year. Several restaurants within walking distance of the facility cater to event goers.
Spill the Wine is one block north of the Metrodome. The restaurant offers contemporary American cuisine with a variety of international influences. The restaurant was lauded as the number one wine bar in the city by readers of Minnesota Monthly magazine in 2009. Spill the Wine is open for lunch and dinner daily, as well as for a Sunday brunch. The restaurant's intimate dining room is decorated in a sleek contemporary style. Entrees include grilled beef tenderloin with wilted spinach; surf and turf with pan seared scallops or butter prawns paired with the beef tenderloin; and lamb ragout with spinach, basil yogurt and potato gnocchi.

Wasabi is an Asian-fusion restaurant a block and a half north of the Metrodome's main gate. The restaurant's menu spans choices from both a hibachi grill and a fresh sushi bar. The establishment's dining room is adorned with indoor tropical foliage and Asian-inspired artwork and sculpture. Sushi rolls can be custom ordered with such fresh seafood as red snapper, white tuna, smoked eel and surf clams. Hibachi-grilled entrees include fillet mignon paired with chicken, shrimp or scallops; grilled lobster tail, salmon and chicken. Each hibachi entree is served with onion soup, a green salad and your choice of appetizer.

Maxwell's American Pub is a traditional sports bar that features several large-screen plasma televisions, ideal for pre-game snacks and beers before heading to the Metrodome, which is less than a block away. The casual establishment offers hand-crafted and seasonal domestic and imported beers. Choose from hearty traditional appetizers, such as chicken wings, pizza rolls, waffle fries and artichoke dip. House-made chili is available every day. Entrees include specialty wrap sandwiches prepared in flour tortillas and served with french fries or vegetables.
