Waterworld California is a waterpark where the entire family can experience thrill rides and family rides. Spend the day enjoying activities such as swirling 75 feet in the air in Tornado, splashing back and forth on the Honolulu Halfpipe or riding on open or enclosed slides in the Hurricane Slide Complex. You can also play in Treasure Island, the interactive water-powered playground, and attend special events held at the park such as the Annual Rubber Ducky Derby.
Waterworld California is open from May through September. An admission fee is charged and season passes are available.

John Muir National Historic Site is a place where you can enjoy indoor and outdoor activities. During the summer and fall you can sample fruits for free from nine acres of fruit orchards. Take a ranger-led wildflower and bird walk during spring or take a full moon walk in the summer months of June, July or August. You can also watch a 20-minute film about John Muir's life in the visitor center or tour Muir's 14-room Victorian mansion.
John Muir National Historic Site is open Wednesdays through Sundays except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Discover marsh, grassy hillsides and rocky beaches in Benicia State Recreation Area. The area offers a long list of outdoor recreation such as biking, running, walking, horseback riding and roller blading along the park's 2.5 miles of road and bike paths. Other activities in the dog friendly park are camping, picnicking, bird watching and fishing.
Benicia State Recreation Area is open daily and a parking fee is required.
