Myrtle Beach is part of the Grand Strand, a string of South Carolina beach towns that runs from Little River to Georgetown. Sands Resorts is a collection of seven resorts and villas located close to each other on the northern end of Myrtle Beach. The resorts are near attractions such as Broadway at the Beach and the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament. Guests can enjoy amenities such as the restaurant and karaoke bar Mango's on the Beach and Ocean Annie's Beach Bar, as well as a water park with slides, waterfalls and a lazy river. A kids club is provided at some of the resorts but is open to all resort guests. There is a combined Ocean Dunes Resort/Sand Dunes Resort Kids Club, a Sands Ocean Resort/Sands Beach Resort Kids Club and an Ocean Forest Kids club. Children staying at Ocean Forest Plaza and Ocean Forest Villas may attend the Ocean Dunes/Sand Dunes club. The clubs are for children ages 5 to 12 and are open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Parents can sign their children up for the club daily in the lobby of their resort. Supervised caretakers lead the kids in activities such as duck races and playing at the Sands Resorts Water Park. The Caravelle Resort is an oceanfront resort located in the Golden Mile area of Myrtle Beach. The resort is made of up nine buildings and has more than 600 rooms and suites. It is near Ripley's Aquarium and the Family Kingdom Amusement Park. All rooms and suites have a kitchenette or full kitchen. Caravelle Resort also has indoor and outdoor pools, a kiddie pool and an interactive Wild Water pool and a Lazy River. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the Caravelle Resort offers the Caravelle Kids Club, which features beach scavenger hunts and arts and crafts. The Kid's Club is open Monday through Friday.

The Crown Reef Resort is located oceanside on the southern end of Myrtle Beach. Crown Reef has 500 rooms and suites, many with an ocean view, as well as pools, spas and fountains. For dining, choose from two restaurants, one of which faces the ocean, and an outdoor bar and grill. Crown Reef Resort has a kids club between June through August for children 12 years old and younger. Supervised activities include water balloon games, coloring contests and beach activities such as foot races on the sand and beach volleyball. Parents can sign their children up at one of the pool areas or with an activities director. The hotel also boasts a 575-foot lazy river.
