Initially, you might not think the Hollywood Walk of Fame would be a fun activity for kids. The walk of fame, which started in 1960, has over 2,400 stars--most of which kids never heard of. But the 2.4-mile stretch on the sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street has several kid-friendly stars like Big Bird, Kermit the Frog and Snow White. Stars also include authors and illustrators of kids classics such as Charles M. Schulz and Dr. Seuss. Parents can make a list of stars their kids know and have a scavenger hunt trying to find them.
