Located along Museum Row in Los Angeles, the Zimmer Children's museum offers exhibits that change regularly and activities for your kids to explore the world around them in a hands-on atmosphere. You'll find a theater where kids can star in their own, kid-created movie, an airplane with flight simulation and a large pinball machine. In addition, the museum hosts a themed family event for two hours every Sunday afternoon. Little ones may enjoy playing in the water table or music island, where they'll learn about and experiment with instruments to make their own music. The Travel Town museum offers kids the opportunity to get an up close look at trains used today and in times long gone. It is open every day except Christmas and doesn't charge an admission fee.
