Restaurants on Columbus Boulevard in Philadelphia

Columbus Boulevard is a long street in South Philadelphia. It follows the course of the Delaware River, the boundary between Philadelphia and New Jersey. The Boulevard features many shopping, entertainment and dining venues, some with view across the river. As elsewhere in Philadelphia, Italian cuisine is well represented, as well as the famous Philadelphia cheesesteak. The main theme is casual dining, although there are a few more formal options. Columbus Boulevard is in easy reach of downtown and the historic Old City district. Many dining options are to be found on Penn's Landing, a waterfront entertainment area extending from Columbus Boulevard to the river.

  1. Chart House

The Philadelphia location incorporates both a dining room on the riverfront and a casual lounge. It opens for dinner daily and brunch on Sunday. Although beef and chicken are available, the menu focuses on seafood and includes a raw bar as well as composed dishes showcasing lobster, shrimp and calamari as well as fresh fish. Inexpensive snacks, such as firecracker shrimp and fish tacos, are served during happy hour, which begins at 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and noon on Sundays.
