Michigan offers many activities and attractions to entertain visitors all year long. In the summer, Michigan is hot, but a variety of water activities and beaches keep visitors cool. Winters are a cold and snowy skiers' delight, with plenty of slopes. Whenever your visit, there are great vacation spots in Michigan.

  1. Mackinac Island

      Mackinac Island, Michigan is like traveling back in time. No motorized vehicles are permitted on the island. Instead, visitors walk, take a horse and carriage or ride bicycles. The island is home to the Grand Hotel, where the movie "Somewhere in Time" was filmed, and is famous for Mackinac fudge. Enjoy any of the annual festivals, tour Fort Mackinac or visit the Mackinac Island Butterfly House.

      Grand Rapids, Michigan is a fun vacation spot that offers a number of attractions.
