Boston may be known more for its clam chowder than its barbecue, but restaurants in the city do offer a wide range of options for patrons wanting to eat ribs. Rib fanatics can eat at an upscale place like the Hillstone Restaurant, in a more modest setting at Dick's Last Resort or somewhere in between at the Whiskey Smokehouse.
The Whiskey Smokehouse on Boylston Street features a wide range of dining options, from steak and lobster to burgers and sandwiches. Barbecue ribs are also a menu favorite at the Whiskey Smokehouse. The restaurant's St. Louis ribs are smoked each morning for four hours over hickory wood. As of September 2010, a full rack of ribs costs $14.95 and a half rack sells for $11.95.
