Gay nightlife in Las Vegas includes a wide range of venues that attract a variety of crowds. Leather clubs such as the Fun Hog Ranch offer a darker, seedy atmosphere, while clubs like Krave, Gipsy and Flex focus on dancing. If you are looking for a more sophisticated club, 8 1/2 and Piranha offer bottle-service and private booths.
Two nightclubs are located in the same building, and often share various drink specials. 8 1/2 has a lounge-like atmosphere, and features dance floors, drag shows, a stage and retro arcade games. Unlike most other Las Vegas venues, there are no gambling machines in the club.
A 180 degree fish tank surrounds the entrance to Piranha, which also includes an iron-cast winding staircase between floors. The upper level features bottle-service only booths, which overlook both the Las Vegas skyline as well as the dance floor. A $10 liquor bust takes place on Mondays, and is valid at both locations. Furthermore, the Coco Vega Drag Show performs on Fridays and Saturdays at both locations. 8 1/2 opens at 10, while Piranha opens at 11:30, and both stay open until dawn.

The leather club encourages leather clothing, but everyone is welcome in any type of outfits. The various drink specials include $2 Bloody Marrys from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays, a $5 liquor bust on Thursdays and happy hour specials on Fridays starting at 3 p.m. Located just off the strip, the Hog Ranch attracts both local Vegas residents, as well as tourists.

Known as the only gay dance club on the Strip, Krave has three parts: Krave Nightclub, Krave Lounge and Harmon Theater, which features various shows. Specials are offered throughout the week and include Meat Market Mondays complete with go-go dancers and $2 well drinks. Thursdays feature 80s music and music videos. Long Island Ice Teas are $2 on Fridays until 1 a.m. To take advantage of the drink specials, you must send the text message "KRAVE" to 313131, and show the returned text message at the door. The club also prides itself on the various celebrities who have visited the locale, including Elton John, Lady Gaga and Rupaul.

Known as a dance club, Gipsy attracts large crowds. The dress varies from casual to dressy, while the DJs generally play house music. The club opens at 9 p.m. Valet parking is available, and the bar only accepts cash. Apart from the large dance floor, the club features an additional room more suitable to conversations. Gipsy has a daily happy hour from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. Specials include Lace Saturdays, or ladies who prefer ladies night on Saturdays, with $1 well drinks and Long Island Ice Teas, and a drag show on Sundays, with no cover charge.
