The Hamptons is an upscale, vibrant collection of beachfront communities on Long Island, New York's eastern end. "Professor's Affair" tour can be chartered as a sunset cruise, tour of Parrot Head or as a literary tour of the area.

The Viking Fleet and CRESLI (Coastal Research and Education Society of Long Island) have partnered to offer a selection of family-friendly cruises featuring whale watching along with observation of other marine life including sea turtles, dolphin and birds. The cruise passes the Montauk lighthouse and many of the area's landmarks. Tours are narrated by a marine biologist or a naturalist. Boats feature seating, fully equipped galleys and modern bathrooms. Local whale watching lasts approximately six hours; offshore whale watching trips are two-day excursions.
