The Orlando, Florida, area is known for being the home of numerous theme parks, including Universal Studios, SeaWorld and the Disney World resorts. Disney World Resort is actually several parks, like the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center, and these have many of their own places to eat. Hungry visitors, however, may find the resort restaurants a little pricey and want to search elsewhere. Luckily, Orlando has many other restaurants close to Disney World to choose from.
Emeril's Orlando is one of several restaurants owned by famous chef Emeril Lagasse. The restaurant is actually located at Universal Studios, but is less than 15 minutes from Disney, and you don't need to buy a ticket to Universal to eat there. Emeril's serves both lunch and dinner, and the menu features items like lamb spare ribs, barbecue-glazed salmon, oyster stew and grilled filet mignon. Emeril's also has soups, salads and a vegetarian dish of the day. Guests for lunch receive two hours of free valet parking, and the restaurant will validate if you park close by at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Season 52 is located at the Plaza Venezia, close to Little Sand Lake. Season 52 is a fresh grill and bar, with custom-made flat breads, desserts and many seasonal dishes. Season 52 is open for both lunch and dinner, and offers entrees like caramelized sea scallops, crab-stuffed shrimp and tamarind-glazed salmon salad. The restaurant also has a bar menu with smaller dishes and a special chef's table, where guests can experience a special five-course meal featuring appetizers, wine, main dishes and dessert. Season 52 also has several alternative menus, including garlic and gluten free, vegetarian, low sodium ad vegan.

Amura is an upscale Japanese restaurant located on Church Street. The menu features hot and cold appetizers like edamame, gyoza (dumplings), seaweed salad and a sashimi sampler. You can also order lobster bisque, udon, tempura, teriyaki and sushi and sashimi combos. Amura has won awards for being one of the best restaurants in Orlando from Orlando Weekly, the Orlando Sentinel, City Search and the Orklando Business Journal.

Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant is located near the Church Street station in downtown Orlando. Ceviche has dining, a central tapas bar and lounge. The restaurant regularly features live flamenco music as well. The menu features cold seafood salads, gazpacho, paella, vegetable salads and desserts. Ceviche also has a wine list filled with champagne, whites, reds and sangrias. As of 2010, the restaurant was offering a "Tapas Tuesday" special, with 30 different kinds of tapas and sangria for $4 or less per glass.
