Restaurants Near Perimeter North in Atlanta

In metropolitan Atlanta, the area known as perimeter north begins approximately at the intersection of I-285 and Ashford Dunwoody Road, and sweeps northeast towards the toll road of GA 400. This area is filled with a wide variety of ethnic, casual dining and fine dining restaurants from which to choose. While some restaurants are in Perimeter Mall proper, others are scattered throughout the area, spanning Dunwoody through north Sandy Springs.

  1. Goldfish

    • Located in the promenade area of Perimeter Mall, Goldfish features sushi, steak and creatively prepared seafood from around the globe. When the weather is warm, dine or enjoy a signature martini outside on the patio. Year round, Goldfish serves lunch and dinner inside the bar and the spacious, vibrantly colored dining room with ample booth seating. A feast for the eyes as well as the palate, the decor of Goldfish includes a waterfall, high accent ceilings, an oversized mural art display painted by Leigh Smith Catherall, and a 600-gallon saltwater aquarium filled with lively creatures from the sea.

      Goldfish is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, and the menu includes a wide array of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, side dishes and entrees. Many items are available in full size or small plate appetizer portions. Not-to-be-missed Asian influence fare includes shrimp dumplings, the Thai curry noodle bowl, and sea bass prepared Hong Kong style, with spinach, sherry-soy broth and sticky rice. In addition to Japanese style sushi prepared by Chef San, seasonal raw oysters are another menu favorite. Southern specialties such as Charleston shrimp and grits or pecan-crusted trout with sweet potatoes ensure diners will return to further the culinary adventure. While reservations are recommended to guarantee seating, walk-ins are welcome.

    5 Seasons Brewing

    • Located in the Prado, just off 285, this lovely stone-and-wood-adorned restaurant combines rustic elegance with upscale casual dining fare through organic-inspired American cuisine and handcrafted beer. Brewmaster Kevin McNerney, formerly of Sweetwater Brewing, joined the staff of 5 Seasons in 2010, adding the microbrewery's first West Coast-style India Pale Ale to the menu. Other signature brews include a Belgian-style Brune, Scotch Ale and Bavarian-style Munchner. Cuisine at 5 Seasons is developed with the same thoughtfulness and ingenuity that goes into creating the beer. Not-to-miss specialties include the Granny Serrano grilled pizza with caramelized Granny Smith apples, serrano ham and sweet onions; spicy lobster cake with corn salsa, red pepper and guacamole; and favorite appetizer kari kari crab and cream cheese dumplings with ponzu sauce.

    Eclipse Di Luna

    • Live entertainment and great deals on wine accent the Latin-inspired Eclipse Di Luna. Tapas are the menu's main event, featuring an assortment of Spanish meats and cheeses, as well as non-meat items that include fried goat cheese with caramelized onions and honey, beet salad with candied walnuts, and roasted mushroom and sweet onion vegetarian meatballs. Seafood, pork, chicken, assorted breads and vegetable side dishes change out seasonally. One of the restaurant's more unusual items is the Black Squid Ink Paella.
