Michigan is located in the Great Lakes Region of the United States and is comprised of two peninsulas. It is bordered by Lake Erie, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and Lake Superior.     • Clear Lake Resort is situated on a 200-acre lake in northern Michigan and is open year-round. Pets are welcome. Guests can enjoy activities on the lake such as swimming, boating and fishing, and the resort rents paddle boats, row boats, fishing boats and Pontoon boats. The Slide Door Restaurant and Clear Lake Bar are within walking distance. Nearby attractions include hiking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, canoeing and golf. Clear Lake is up to 50 feet deep, contains three islands and has a sandy shoreline.

    The Reel Inn

    • The Reel Inn is located less than half a mile from Lake Superior and offers two cabin rentals on the Au Train River. Both of these log units feature rustic, wooden interiors, fully equipped kitchens, large decks, hot tubs, cable TV and free wireless Internet. The Reel Inn 1 cabin was built in 1998 and features one bedroom, a full bath, a loft with two beds, a pullout couch and a large living area. The Reel Inn 2 cabin was built in 2002. It is a two-story unit featuring 1.5 baths, a living area and two upstairs rooms. The second-floor rooms are semi-private and include three bunk beds and a full bed. Guests can enjoy outdoor activities such as canoeing, mountain biking, fishing, and boating, as well as cross country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter months on the Alger Trails and Marguette Mountain, located 20 miles from the resort.

    Cal's Cabin

    • Cal's Cabin, located on Ford Lake in central Michigan, features lake frontage with a sandy beach. This cabin includes three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, cable television, a VCR and DVD player, a fire pit, a large deck with deck furniture, a picnic table and free boat docking. Fishing is a popular activity on 208-acre Ford Lake, which contains bass, pike and walleye. Nearby attractions include the Little River Casino and the Manistee National Forest.
