Olio Ristorante offers its famous brunch on Christmas Day. This Northern Italian eatery is located downtown in the Sheraton Hotel. Brunch offerings include Caesar salad, hearty bread with dips and penne puttanesca. Olio also features wood-fired pizzas topped with caramelized onions, goat cheese and smoked salmon.

Bambara Restaurant serves its regular menu on Christmas, plus holiday specials. Bambara bills itself as a “New American Bistro” and is located in the historic Continental Bank lobby. It has a central exhibition kitchen surrounded by a dining room lined with brass, marble and windows. Appetizers include warm marinated olives and blue cheese house-cut potato chips, lavender-seared ahi tuna and maple-brined pork porterhouse chops. Desserts include white chocolate mousse and blueberry Napolean.

The Paris Bistro, in the Sugarhouse neighborhood, serves a New American menu for dinner on Christmas Day. Entrees include butternut squash ravioli, capellini alla Siciliana and duck confit. The bistro has sidewalk and patio dining and is well-known for its wood-fired pizzas, salads and desserts, along with an optional cheese course. The restaurant is decorated with large framed mirrors and rich wood, and offers cozy booths.
