There are several clubs along the Indian River that are available for membership to guests and residents of Vero Beach. Several clubs offer year-round memberships, and others offer seasonal memberships for snowbirds (call individual clubs for details and availability). Vero Beach, located between the Atlantic Ocean and Indian River Lagoon, is a convenient location if you are looking to join a club that offers golf, dining, tennis, special events and marina access to members.
The Indian River Club is a place where families can play together as they enjoy all that nature has to offer. The club is the third in the world to be designated an Audubon Signature Sanctuary by Audubon International.
Indian River has a 6,941-yard, par-72 golf course, and there is a swimming and fitness center available to members. The clubhouse is equipped with an indoor grille room and an open-air dining veranda with plenty of seating.
The Indian River Club also has a fully equipped and stocked golf shop to meet members' needs. Items available at the golf shop include apparel, shoes and golfing accessories, featuring Titleist, Callaway and Bridgestone merchandise.
The Charlesworth Lodge is also available to those wishing to stay at the Indian River Club. The lodge offers rooms with two queen beds and private bathrooms. The lodge of four rooms can be rented or you can rent an individual suite.
Throughout the year there are several events and social gatherings held in the clubhouse for members. Social events throughout the year include dances, dinners, holiday gatherings and golf tournaments.

The Vero Beach Yacht Club is a private facility that offers members a place to gather, entertain, socialize and enjoy a private marina. However, members do not need to have a boat to become a member of the yacht club.
Nestled on the Intracoastal Waterway, the Vero Beach Yacht Club offers a marina on the Indian River Lagoon with easy access to the Atlantic Ocean. The lagoon offers fishing opportunities and plenty of room for some small to medium-sized vessels to sail through.
Members can eat in one of the dining rooms or attend the many events held throughout the year. Some events include bingo, holiday parties or weekend jazz luncheons. The club also is available for private parties, functions and weddings.
The club is a member of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs, giving its members opportunities to use reciprocal privileges at other clubs on both coasts.

The Moorings Club is conveniently located on the barrier island in Vero Beach and offers guests golf, tennis, dining and yachting.
The golf course follows the path of the Indian River and has been home to several tournaments. Members also are able to take advantage of the reciprocal program The Moorings has with the Bent Pine Country Club, also in Vero Beach.
The club also hosts events throughout the year, including monthly cruises, cocktail hours and the formal Commodore's Ball. Other events held throughout the year include art showcases, bridge tournaments, dance lessons, lecture series, an annual beach party, The Governor's Ball and holiday dinners.
Members also will have the opportunity to join the Moorings Literary Society where they will get a chance to learn from famous authors. The Moorings Club is also available for private parties.
The Moorings Yacht Club offers members access to the Indian River Lagoon and is also a part of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs, giving members use of the reciprocal program with other clubs.
