Resorts in the Branson, Missouri Area

Branson, Missouri is located in the Ozark mountains in the southern part of the state. Billed as the "live music capital of the world," Branson has over 50 theaters and 100 shows. The area also boasts beautiful lakes for boating, fishing, and swimming, four theme parks, golf, miniature golf, go-carts, and shopping.     • This affordable, rustic resort is great for families. Guests can rent various kinds of boats on-site (or dock their own boats), fish at the fishing dock, swim in the outdoor pool, play basketball, and enjoy the playground. Lakefront condos range from $79 (for a one-bedroom, one-bath with full kitchen) to $209 (for a four-bedroom, two-bath with full kitchen), as of March 2010. Decor is comfortable and rooms include large decks with grills, cable television, and air conditioning. There is a bait and tackle shop on-site, and downtown Branson is only two miles away.

    Tribesman Resort

    • The Tribesman Resort is located on Table Rock Lake and is made for families. There are four outdoor pools, an indoor pool, two marinas with boat rentals, hiking trails, a game room, a toddler toy room, and kids' climbers. Families can stay in apartments or houses ranging from one bedroom/one bath to five bedrooms/four baths, all with fully-equipped kitchens and access to resort amenities. In-season rates range from $77 to $283, as of March 2010.

    Big Cedar Lodge

    • Also located on Table Rock Lake, beautiful Big Cedar Lodge has an upscale yet rustic feel. Guests can play golf on the nine hole Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, horseback ride, bass fish, trout fish, hike, and bike through a nature preserve, rent boats, enjoy spa services, and dine at one of the five restaurants. As of March 2010, guests can stay in hotel rooms, lodge rooms, or log cabins ranging from $179 (for a double queen bed) to $939 (for a private cabin that sleeps six adults) during the summer high season.
