When you're on a family vacation, the costs really add up. However, a little planning may help you save some cash on theme parks, including the Busch Gardens adventure parks in Tampa and Williamsburg.
If you're visiting Williamsburg, the Fun Card permits entry to Water Country USA and Busch Gardens an unlimited number of times within a seven-day period. The "Summer Flex" card includes seven days at the two parks between mid-May and September. The Williamsburg Bounce Ticket adds in Colonial Williamsburg, allowing you to visit the three areas for a total of seven days throughout the summer. For other discounts on single-day tickets, check the Visit Williamsburg website.
Busch Gardens Tampa has discount bundled tickets. Purchase the 2-Park ticket for Busch Gardens and Adventure Island, or the Busch Gardens + Sea World ticket to save money and visit the parks an unlimited number of times within a 14-day period. Look into the CityPass ticket, which bundles multiple Tampa attractions into one lower price.
If you're a member of the military, you may not have to pay for tickets. SeaWorld Parks -- which owns Busch Gardens -- offers complimentary tickets for military personnel and up to three dependents one time each year. To get the tickets, register on the Waves of Honor webpage.
