If you and your family are looking for a magical kingdom filled with exciting entertainment and rides, international cuisine and culture and non-stop adventures, head to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida or to Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Tickets for the attractions are easily found in a variety of areas, so search multiple areas to ensure you get the best deal.
Check the main Disney website before you head out for your trip for both Disneyland and Disney World (see Resources). Find tickets for all attractions available through the websites. Check often for Internet specials.
Search the Internet. Type is "Disney World tickets" or "Disneyland tickets" to find a variety of discount ticket website. Make sure you only visit legit and secure websites to protect your money and identity.
Use services like AAA, AARP or other groups to find discount tickets if you are a member. Sometimes discount programs like AAA pay for themselves if you travel often and attend a lot of events and entertainment venues. Sometimes schools, businesses and other organizations also might offer discount tickets for those who go to school or work there.
Check out your hotel lobby or concierge. Sometimes area Disney hotels offer special discounts or ticket packages for guests.
Meet with area vendors. Go to visitors' centers or travel dealers surrounding Disney for discount tickets or coupons. You may have to hear a presentation or visit a time share property in order to get the discount, so weigh whether the price is worth your time.
Buy them at the gate. This method is likely the most expensive, but if you are without a computer connection or are on a last-minute trip, it might be the only way to get tickets. Search surrounding areas or online, if you are able, for discount coupons, or if you have student or military ID card or another discount card, show it for possible additional discounts. Group discounts also may be available.
