Purchase multiple day tickets. Disney's Magic Your Way Tickets allow guests to purchase tickets that will work for their vacation. Some ticket options include multiple day purchased, no expiration date, water parks, park hoppers and DisneyQuest. Basically, when purchasing tickets, the more days you purchase the less you pay per day. If you are planning on visiting the Disney parks for more than just one day, purchase the 10-day Magic Your Way Ticket.
This ticket option saves the most money per day and when used with the "no expiration date" option, guests can come back in a year or more and still be able to use the tickets the next time they vacation at Disney.
Purchase Disney theme park tickets before going on vacation. If purchasing a three- (or more) day Magic Your Way Ticket, do so before getting to the theme parks, because tickets at the gate are more expensive. Prepurchasing tickets can be done online through the Disney Travel Co., through AAA or with any Disney authorized travel agent. Advance tickets for one- and two-day passed are not available for advance purchases.
Ask for discounts, because there are discounts for a variety of memberships, residency and military affiliations. California residents are eligible to receive a discount to Disneyland, just as Florida residents can receive discounts to Walt Disney World. Members of AAA, the Disney Vacation Club and branches of the military are eligible for discounts as well. Proof of residency, military service and membership is required when purchasing tickets at a discounted rate.
Purchase an Annual Pass, especially if you already know you will be going to the Disney parks multiple times throughout a year. Disney Annual Passes give guests unlimited admission to the theme parks and discounts on merchandise, tours and services. Depending upon which pass was purchased, guests will receive free parking and water park admission. Compare how many days you will be going to the parks throughout the year, then divide by the cost of thepass. This will help you determine if an Annual Pass is the cheapest way to purchase tickets.
