Visit the Disney Parks website or view a free Disney travel CD to decide which parks you want to visit.
Sign on to the Internet and go to the DIsney Parks passes and tickets page. Scroll to the "Magic Your Way" ticket information and click "Buy Now."
Click your age group in the "Choose your Ticket" section. Select the number of days you want to spend in the parks. The more days you stay, the more you will save per day. Always buy a ticket for your entire stay to save money. You will pay much more if you buy individual tickets each day.
Park-hopping is Disney's term for going to more than one park in a day. If you buy separate tickets for each park, you will spend much more than if you simply add the "Park Hopper" option to your ticket. Click the "Park Hopper" button if you think you will want to travel from one theme park to another. If you know you won't want to go to more than one park, leave this button un-checked to save additional money on your ticket.
Click the "Water Park & Fun" button only if you are sure you will go to a water park. If you are undecided, do not buy this option at this time. Opting out of water parks will save you about $25-50 per ticket.
Do not select the "No Expiration" option. This will add an additional fee to your ticket, and according to the "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2010," this option is often paid for, but rarely used.
Repeat for each person in your travel party. Check out using your preferred method of payment and your tickets will be sent to you in the mail. Buying your tickets online from Disney will save you about 5% of the total cost you will pay when you buy in person at the theme park.
