Start your search for rail tickets by going to Amtrak's website, where you can find ticket deals, prices and a listing of all train stations.
Decide what type of ticket you need. One-way, round-trip, multi-ride and multi-city tickets are available.
Enter your arrival and departure stations. If you don't know them, click on the "Find a Station" option or "Stations" tab at the top of the page.
Enter departure date and time.
Enter the number of tickets needed and click "Go."
Select your departure and return tickets from the options available, including time and ticket choice.
Enter your passenger information and ticket pick-up options.
Enter your payment information and purchase the ticket.
