Go to a travel booking website such as Travelocity, Orbitz or Priceline to search multiple airlines at once. Click on the "flight" tab and input your departure and arrival cities, departure and arrival dates, and the number of passengers in your party. Click "Search." A list of flights will be displayed along with the price of each one.
Call the airline you want to fly on directly and give them your travel information or simply go to their website. Input your trip details, including the departure and arrival cities and click "search." The flights will then be displayed and will include the price for each one. You may also see a coach ticket price and a first-class ticket price.
Call your travel agent and give her the specifics of your trip and she can search a database to find appropriate flights. She will then be able to quote you a price on airfare.
