Navigate to a travel booking website that offers the option to name your own price for airfare. Click on the "Bid Now" button under the "Name Your Own Price" option.
Type the city you will be departing under "From" and the city you are traveling to under "To." Also choose your departure and return date, along with the number of passengers flying and click "Bid Now."
Select the airports you would like to use near the departure and arrival cities you have indicated. You may choose more than one departure and arrival airport to increase your chances of your bid being accepted. Decide how much you are willing to pay for the round trip airfare and enter that amount under "Name Your Own Price." Keep in mind that this amount will not include taxes and fees, so you may want to input a lower price than the total amount you are willing to pay for the flight.
Enter the passenger's first, middle and last name exactly as it appears on the government-issued identification card he will be using. You will also need to input his birth date and gender. Select "Next."
Locate the total price after taxes and fees. If this is acceptable to you, initial the "Terms and Conditions," input your billing information exactly as it appears on your credit or debit card statement and enter your credit card information then click "Buy My Tickets Now."
The site will now search for an airline that will accept your offer. If the offer is accepted, your tickets will be purchased immediately. Your travel itinerary will then be provided to you and will include the flight times and the name of the airline on which you will be flying. If the offer is not accepted, you may be sent a counter offer or you may simply try again with a higher bid.
