How to Bid for Airfare

Purchasing airfare is an expensive endeavor. For those who want to save a few dollars and spend less on airfare, some websites allow you to bid on airfare by naming your own price. The process is simple. You provide your travel information and the dollar amount you are willing to spend on your tickets and wait while your travel website places a bid for you. If your bid is accepted, you might possibly save a significant amount of money. If it is denied, you can raise your bid slightly and keep trying until you find a comfortable price that is accepted.
