Visit the Priceline website (priceline.com). Locate the "Name Your Own Price" box on the homepage and click on the "Bid Now" option for hotels.
Enter your travel information. For hotels, input your destination city, check-in and check-out dates, and the number of rooms you want. Click "Bid Now" to continue your reservation.
Choose the location in the city you selected. For example, if you chose to bid on a hotel room in Orlando, Florida, you can choose whether or not you want a hotel near the airport, near the theme parks or in various other areas of the city -- all of which are listed for your convenience. Click on the hotel location you wish to bid on.
Select a star rating for the hotel you wish to book; this ensures your hotel is one that is in your comfort level luxury-wise. Continue to Step 3 and enter the maximum price you are willing to pay for a room in the location and of the star rating you chose, and enter your first and last name before clicking "Next."
Enter your personal information, credit card information and contact information. Once you submit your bid and Priceline finds a hotel that meets all of your search criteria it charges your card and books your room. If no hotels accept your price, your card won't be charged. Check that all the information you entered is correct and submit your search. Print your confirmation page for your records.
Click on the "Bid Now" link on the name your price selection on Priceline's homepage. Enter your departure city, destination city, travel dates and the number of passengers you are purchasing tickets for -- make note of how many passengers are adults and how many are children. Click "Bid Now."
Select an airport -- this is only applicable if your departure and/or destination city is located somewhere with several airports in the area. Enter the names and ages of each passenger. Click "Next."
Choose to accept trip protection for your travel if you wish; this adds an additional fee to your tickets. Review your travel information and read the terms and conditions, initialing that you've read and understand them. Provide your billing address, contact information and your credit card information and click "Buy My Tickets Now." Print your confirmation page for your records.
Click the "Bid Now" button under the rental car choice in the name your own price section of Priceline's homepage.
Select your pick-up location, drop-off location, rental car type, pick-up date and time, and drop-off date and time. Choose "Bid Now."
Enter your first and last name and name your price before clicking "Next."
Read the terms and conditions, initial that you understand what you've read, and provide your billing address and credit card information. Review your information and click "Buy My Rental Car Now." Print your confirmation page for your records.
