How to Get Out of a Priceline Contract

Priceline is a travel website that allows travelers to book discounted travel deals and packages. Priceline searches for the best prices for your trip and lets you choose the options that best suit your travel needs. In addition to discounted travel, Priceline also allows travelers to bid for travel with a program called "Name Your Own Price." Bidding allows you to choose both the travel deal and the price. If your bid is accepted, you will pay that price for your travel itinerary. You cannot cancel a contract purchased through "Name Your Own Price," but other types of contracts may be cancelled.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit the Priceline website to cancel your travel contract. Log in to your Priceline account to view your reservations. Hotel reservations cannot be changed once they are booked, but the cancellation policy depends on the hotel. Some airline reservations may be cancelled for a fee.

    • 2

Locate your account options and click on "Changes and Cancellations." Before you click on the link to cancel your reservation, read the disclosed policy regarding cancellations with your particular airline or hotel.

Continue your cancellation once you are familiar with the cancellation policy. If your travel provider requires you to pay a fee to cancel your contract, the fee is charged to the credit card you used to book your reservation. All airline cancellations through Priceline incur an additional $30 charge by Priceline.
