Visit a travel aggregator website that offers the option to pick your own airline price. Choose "bid now" under the option menu.
Input the cities you are departing from and traveling to. You will be presented with a list of airports. Consider selecting more than one for search so that you have more flights to bid on. Select your travel dates and the number traveling in your party and click "bid now."
Determine how much you are willing to pay before taxes and fees for each ticket. Input this information into the amount box and click "submit."
Enter each passenger's legal first and last name, date of birth and gender as it appears on their government-issued identification card. The identification card must be current and not expired.
Determine if the ticket price, after taxes and fees, is what you are willing to pay. If not, go back to step 3 and lower the ticket price. Once you are happy with the total airfare price, enter your billing information and credit card number and click "submit."
If your bid is accepted by an airline, your tickets will be purchased. You will be provided the airline name, flight times and airport information. If the bid is not accepted, you may try again with a higher price.
