Navigate to Priceline, an online travel sight that allows users to name their own price for a number of different types of travel.
Click on the "bid now" tab located in the "Name Your Price" cars section.
Type your pickup and drop-off location in the appropriate fields. Afterward, select the size car you wish to rent in the "car type" drop-down button.
Select the pickup and drop-off date and time in the appropriate fields, then click "bid now."
Complete the requested optional flight information. This optional information assists the rental company in keeping abreast of possible flight delays.
Type the driver's name and age in the appropriate fields.
Type in the price per day you wish to bid. If you're unsure of how much to bid, view the market rates by clicking the "shop and compare" link. After your price per day bid is entered, select "next." You'll be advised if the price is too low. Additionally, you'll be given suggestions on what bids have a good chance of being accepted.
Review the order summary page. This page includes the taxes and fees for a complete summary of your charges. You'll be asked to type in your initials in the "initial here" field. Click "next."
Type your credit card information in the appropriate fields. Click the "Buy my rental car now" link.
Wait approximately 2-3 minutes while your bid is being reviewed. The decision page will launch. If your bid isn't accepted, you'll be given the opportunity to bid again. If your price is accepted, you'll be taken to the order confirmation page. Additionally, a copy of your confirmation and itinerary will be sent to the email address provided earlier.
