If you want to encourage children to learn how to follow a calendar, make a Disney calendar to motivate them as they learn the concept of days, weeks and months. Children often recognize and relate to Disney characters since they occupy a prominent place in America’s mass media. If you want to make a motivating calendar for your children, include Disney’s readily identifiable figures to smooth the process of instruction.
Visit Disney's website to open up the Disney Calendar Maker.
Select a Disney movie as the calendar’s theme. Click on your selection. A calendar window will appear, which displays the current month.
Click on one of the images that appear on the top row of the left menu. This will appear as the image at the top of the current month’s display on the calendar. Click the arrow next to the three images shown to see additional choices.
Click an arrow under the second row, “Select a Month,” to display a preceding or following month. Add an image to other months' displays by clicking on an image from the top row when a different month appears.
Left-click on a image on the third row, and drag it with your cursor to one of the dates on the calendar to mark a special day. Release the click, and the image will appear in the date’s corner.
Click the “Print” button at the bottom of the calendar window. Click “OK” on the Print window that pops up.
