Gorkha Airlines is the oldest privately owned domestic airline serving the many sectors of Nepal. The carrier flies daily flights to 15 Nepalese cities using the Dornier aircraft that is popular in the region for servicing airports with short runways.

See Mount Everest up close. Gorkha Airlines flies within 4 nautical miles of the 29,035-foot mountain during the daily 1-hour flights from Kathmandu to the Himalayas.
Book a seat on a daily flight to trekking areas. Many visitors to Nepal come for the hiking, rafting, climbing and other adventure travel. Gorkha Airlines provides service to the remote areas--such as Lukla, Pokhara and Jomsom--that serve as trailheads for these treks.
Fly Gorkha Airlines to popular domestic locations for the most convenient travel. Janakpur is a religious center that takes 12 hours to reach by bus from Kathmandu, but only a 30-minute flight. Biratnagar is the second-largest city in Nepal and a 40-minute flight (or 8-hour bus ride) from Kathmandu.
Have your travel documents in order. Carry your passport with you at all times, and keep copies of your passport available in case of theft. Nepal also requires that visitors possess an entry visa.
