A-1 Express Services is a gated, security patrolled lot with 24-hour service adjacent to TPA. Arrive at the lot two hours before your scheduled departure and, after a short check-in process, a van will drop you and your luggage curbside at your airline's terminal. When arriving, dial 800-727-5842 for a curbside courtesy van pickup once you've claimed your baggage. Upon arrival at the parking lot, you'll pay for your parking ($7 per day as of April 2010) and retrieve your keys, and your bags will be taken to your car for you. A-1 Express Services offers oil change and car cleaning services (from a basic car wash to a full detail) while your car is parked. A half-price discount is given to airline employees with a valid ID. A free paperback lending library is available for customers. Reservations are recommended during the holidays. Parking is available on the TPA airport grounds for a maximum length of 45 days. A free lot is available on the southwest corner of the economy parking garage with flight arrival information and free Wi-Fi for those waiting for arriving passengers inside their car. There is valet parking (with curbside service available daily from 5:30 to 5:30), a short and long term garage, and an economy parking complex (lot and garage). Prices for 24 hours range from $9 to $25 (as of April 2010). Terminal transportation is available by shuttle, monorail and pedestrian walkways. A radio broadcast with airport parking conditions can be heard within a three-mile radius of the airport on 1610AM. The SunPass Plus card, the prepaid toll card from the Florida Department of Transportation, is an accepted form of payment, in addition to Florida personal checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard, Diner's Club and American Express. Reservations are not accepted.
